For example, if you love going to the gym, working out and taking care of your diet to stay healthy and fit, the Health segment could be a great idea for your business.

If you’re an influencer in some area and have a few followers already, maybe you can go for Lifestyle.

That’s the moment when you analyse your life and see what you do that gives you more pleasure and happiness.

My Advice?

Grab a journal and start writing about everything you think. It may sound strange, but if you go deep into your thoughts and write them down, you boost your inner power and the chances of starting the right business increase 1.000.000 times!

Here are 4 Big Markets to help you analyse your interests:

What do you like the most? If you stay between two, please pick the one most resonating with your heart.

Why? Because this way you’ll have fun while working and that’s our goal, right?

However, it is also essential that you choose a market that is in high demand and naturally generates profits. After all, you want to help people and make money simultaneously.

What do I mean by that?

Please do not choose a market that nobody is working with. If you don’t see many people there, it’s 99% sure it’s not profitable. In this right moment, where you’re just starting from scratch, choose a market you already see a strong movement in.

Then you go to research your chosen market.

Basically, market research exists for you to know if it is profitable or not. If you’ve done for the list above, they’re certainly profitable, since they’re the biggest markets nowadays.

But you need to learn more about it, and not only that, you need to find your NICHE within it. So, if you’ve chosen Money as your Market, Google it and analyse the results. Check if there’s any subject within Money that you like the most. And write it down.

Sub-market takes your chosen market to a more specific area. For example, I’ve chosen Money as my Market, and my sub-market is Make Money Online As A Complete Beginner.

That being chosen, you’ll go for more specific area, where is the niche. There you’re going to sell and make relationships with your customers.

CAUTION: This phase can be tricky, but you need to move forward. Without deciding the niche you won’t be able to follow the next steps, so don’t skip it, ok?

Oh my, this phase is so funny!

That’s when you define the persona you want to connect with and make your sales as an affiliate. This Avatar is the sum of all characteristics you believe that your customer has.

So, if you’re going to work with the marketing niche “how to lose weight”, for instance, you must understand the person who is looking for it.

Who is he/she? What age, interests, fears, desires, routine, and difficulties do he/she have when he/she is looking for this subject?

This research needs to be as detailed as possible, because the closer you get to your Avatar profile, the easier your communication with him/her will be.

Working on your Avatar can be a little tricky, though.

Take advantage of doing surveys and speaking personally (or by phone/Zoom) with people that you believe would be your potential customers. Listen to what they say and think about how you could help them in the best way.

It’s time to define the product you’re going to affiliate with. Yayy! So exciting! At the same time, there are loads and loads of products you can affiliate to and instead of helping you, it can be overwhelming.

Don’t worry. I know it’s not easy, but remember you must have fun in this process, so try to think creatively.

- What kind of product would you love to promote?
- Think about the products you’ve already bought online.
- Would you promote them if you could?
- Google [“product you love” affiliate program] and check it out!

Now that you already know what product will guide your affiliate marketing, it’s time to think about the structure you’ll need to promote it.

You need a Sales Funnel, that’s nothing more than a landing page where you capture people’s name and email, and the a thank you page where you show people your offer.

You can have a Blog as I have, too. It all works as a way for you to drive people to your offers.

Your sales funnel, your blog will be your own platform, where your Ideal Customer Avatar will come and check what you have to say and follow you through your integrity and authority in your niche.

There you’ll recommend the products you’ll work with and it’ll be the main conversion place of all your business.

In addition to it, you can use Social Media to bring people to your sales funnel/blog. If you already have an Instagram, Facebook, or Youtube account, you can use them to show up as a professional, taking those audiences to your blog.

And finally, start building an Email List. And that will probably be the most profitable pillar, because the person subscribing to your list really wants to hear more from you and is more willing to buy from you than a follower from Instagram, for example.

With the Newsletter you can create a relationship with your customers, and I believe that’s the best part of the business when you start receiving feedback about what you’ve been doing.
